The first beauty agency emerges in Milton Keynes

The first beauty agency emerges in Milton Keynes

A first for Milton Keynes as a new agency dedicated to serving the beauty scene is set to launch in April. Offering an affordable platform for beauty businesses and therapists to advertise, Slayed Away Beauty Agency has developed the monthly subscription online platform as a community of support for businesses and to promote local beauty services.

The beauty agency will offer three packages; Platinum, Gold and a Free basic listing. For as little as £21 per month, beauty businesses and therapists will benefit from the agency’s advertising by sharing their services to a wide range of local customers who are looking for a specific beauty treatment.

The online marketing platform will include a listing from each beauty salon or independent who signs up for the paid subscription service. They will then be able to add images and have service ratings shown – an important influence for potential new customers.

Slayed Away is investing heavily into the development of the beauty platform with a strategic SEO strategy, brand building on social media platforms and paid-for advertising. The beauty agency covers Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Northampton, Bedford and Oxford and has already signed up 70 beauty clients including SoKate, Anbmakeup, Brow and Lash Envy, Krown Hair, HF Cosmetic tattooing and more.

Slayed Away is set to celebrate the launch of the company with a free launch event at a date to be confirmed. The event, which will be held at Fourth & Fifth is free to attend for beauty businesses, therapists and customers who want to find out more about the platform.

The event will showcase the agency’s fun approach to the beauty industry and will have impressive entertainment to wow guests, as well as guest speakers from the beauty scene. All this and a DJ on the decks, tasty canapes, a ‘slay your prosecco’ pop up bar and competitions for attendees to win some impressive prizes.

Bella Ubhi and Naomi Khodes, founders of Slayed Away Beauty Agency, commented: “We wanted to create a platform for beauty therapists to showcase their services and grow their businesses. We know that being self-employed means juggling all aspects of a business, so we’re here to be a support for therapists to focus on delivering the highest quality beauty experience, whilst we focus on advertising to attract clients.

“An important aspect of our business model is to celebrate the success of like-minded businesses. Often in the beauty industry there is a stigma of rivalry among competitors, but our Slayers Hub promotes bringing therapists together with frequent networking events where our community can network, collaborate and encourage each other in a positive engaging environment.”

All businesses must be insured to join and fully qualified in the services promoted.
