Office life that offers so much more

News, Property | September 30, 2020

It’s a business centre in an excellent location with flexible terms – but what’s so special about Cubix?

Well, it offers stunning air-conditioned penthouse offices for anything from two to 100 people. It’s located on the top two floors of the Hampton by Hilton Hotel. It’s so close to Luton Airport you can sit and watch the planes take off from your office window. The new monorail, set to open next year, is just outside the door, as is Luton Parkway station. And the management team is dedicated to giving residents an amazing business experience.

Paul Zimbler, Managing Director of Cubix, which opened the centre two years ago, said: “We want clients to feel like this is a business community, we don’t want them to just take space here, we want them to become a part of the place.

“Because we offer flexible space with easy in-out terms, we attract not only small businesses but larger organisations looking either for a base, or a satellite office. This create a vibrant community of all kinds of businesses and they can feed off one another.

“Space is configured to fit the client’s requirements, and we’ve got our own meeting rooms available for use. But after that, you’re in a hotel – so you have free membership of the gym, discounted rates at the restaurant and bar for entertaining, outside terraces and breakout areas to get away from your desk. It’s an amazing
set-up.”

Cubix is the ideal solution to the modern business model. It’s outside of London but 23 minutes from Kings Cross at three miles from the M1. It offers workspace to meet current requirements, without overstretching the budget, with the option to take more space as the business grows, or more people return to the office.

“It’s all about the clients and making them feel like they are part of the community,” said Paul. “Our own business is based here, so clients have direct access to us and know us, they’re not dealing with some faceless person at head office should an issue arise.

“Our rates work out to £300 per desk per month, which includes internet, utilities and use of the facilities. Any extra costs, such as upgraded technology or booking fees, for instance, just get added to the bill at the end of the month and you settle up – just like staying in a hotel.

“Long-term leases are not particularly attractive to people in these uncertain times and with Cubix, it’s a month’s notice and then you can just walk away. Central London is also not particularly attractive to some, and Cubix appeals to those who want lower rents, excellent road, rail and air links and the flexibility to adapt as their business grows.

“We love nothing better than watching a business grow and will do our best to support it in any way we can.”
