New graduate intern for PR firm - More Fire PR

`Bedfordshire graduate Beth O’Neill has successfully landed an internship with Northamptonshire-based public relations firm, More Fire PR Ltd.

Beth, who graduated from the University of Nottingham last year with a first-class honours degree in English and Philosophy and has since set her sights on a career in PR with the aim of developing her skills in areas including social media management, content marketing and blogging for businesses.

Beth said: “During my studies and previous work experience I’ve learnt about creating highly-shareable online content for a variety of brands to help drive visitors to their webpages.

“I’m thrilled to be gaining access to More Fire PR’s working methods and expertise in press release creation, media pitching, crisis communications and developing PR strategies.”

Mark Ferguson, Director of More Fire PR Ltd, added: “While COVID-19 might make 2020 feel like one of the worst years in living memory for many companies, we’ve been lucky to see an increase in demand for a number of our services.

“As organisations emerge from lockdown and face the task of raising their profiles and reconnecting with customers, we’ve got some fascinating projects under way. These include work with software and technology companies, universities and high-profile figures in business, leadership and cyber security to name a few.

“Not only was Beth’s CV very strong, she really impressed me with her professional and assertive approach to gaining a position with More Fire PR. This is a particularly challenging time for young people entering the jobs market and Beth has already demonstrated the tenacity needed to succeed. We look forward to working with her.”
