The Three Counties Business Network (TCBN)

News | November 6, 2020

Two local business owners, Marvin Reid from Volume 2, an agency partnering with clients to help drive successful business outcomes, and Tilly Bartens from Raring2go! Bedford, Biggleswade and Sandy, a free local quarterly magazine aimed at families, will be launching the Three Counties Business Network on the 1st July 2020.

Tilly and Marvin have been working together during lockdown to lay the foundations for the launch of this exciting new networking group. The TCBN will cover the three counties of Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire, to bring together businesses from all sectors.

The coronavirus pandemic has had a catastrophic effect on many businesses especially in the hospitality sector. Robust networks will be the key to building resilience moving forward, and helping many survive during these unprecedented times.

Marvin and Tilly commented:

“Initially, we wanted to do something positive during this tough time and create a forum where businesses from all sectors, of any size and from across the entire three counties can come together. We recognise that for businesses, building strong networks and working together to find their new normal is going to provide the best opportunity to bounce back from this. There will be experts and guest speakers from across a range of business activities, members will be able to benefit from their expertise, advice and guidance”.

The Three Counties Business Network will meet virtually initially. However, when we are able to do so, we will work with our members to host our fortnightly events at their business premises on rotation, therefore, helping to promote the members organisations while providing a truly unique experience. Members will really be able to get to know each business and determine how they can best help and support each other.

While we are in our virtual format, each meeting will provide the golden opportunity for one of the business members to be in the spotlight. This 15 minute session will enable a member to share the challenges they are facing and benefit from expert advice and support.
