The future of air purification

News, Technology | November 30, 2020

Air For Life

Air For Life UK is a world-leading health company that specialises in air purification technology that destroys harmful bacteria, viruses, fungi, VOCs and contaminants, including coronaviruses, by up to 99.9% in the air and on all surfaces.

This is done through a filterless, NASA-developed AFLPCO® Technology that releases human-friendly negative ions into the air which essentially collide with impurities and destroy and sanitise bacteria, viruses and allergens.

With its company headquarters in the UK under the Government’s Department of International Trade (DIT), Air For Life UK LTD is part of the Global Entrepreneur Programme (GEP) and is a top three company in this programme. Air For Life has a mission to focus on disease prevention and protecting public health through innovative health technology for infection control.

One of the very first products that was created by Air For Life was the AFL Mask® containing a state-of-the-art four-stage nano silver ion filtrete® anti-viral layer. This AFL mask® has been revolutionary during the current pandemic of COVID-19 throughout the world. Not only does the mask have a four-stage filter system, but it also contains a two-speed electronic turbo fan providing a continuous flow of clean air allowing the user to breathe easy.

Founder and CEO of Air For Life, Jay Vitale, said: “Typically, most HEPA filters can only filter particles up to 0.3 microns, and as 99% of the particles we breathe are under one micron they will simple pass through.”

The AFL mask® has proven to be an essential product in kick starting Air For Life, enabling the company to pave the way in leading health technology by providing innovative filterless NASA-developed technologies in order to continue to keep the interest of protecting public health at heart.
