Transforming lives in more ways than one

New software that transforms the working practices of HR professionals could also help transform the futures of premature babies, by helping fund vital equipment at Milton Keynes Hospital.

Sedulous Business Solutions specialises in project management, supporting businesses through critical change, business analysis and process improvement, and has developed Bubble; a people management system that understands the new world we live in.

Bubble brings together all aspects of the human resources requirements of a company, from managing a recruitment process through to employment practices, time management, payroll and keeping all essential data safe.

Sedulous Business Solutions began working on Bubble during lockdown, when the need for an interactive software system became apparent. Working from home became more common, and the dissemination of information between remote workers was vital to the smooth running of a business.

Bubble is now available to customers and is working in partnership with Milton Keynes University Hospital to support the neonatal baby unit. Sedulous Business Solutions will be donating £250 from each Bubble purchase, to go towards new incubators to support babies that are sick or born prematurely.

Jay Holland, CEO Sedulous Business Solutions said: “It’s close to my heart because my daughter was in an incubator after she was born and, following on from the year we’ve all just been through, we wanted to give something back from the success of Bubble.

“We’ll donate £250 for each software package we sell, which we hope will be a significant amount, as we think this is a fantastic asset for any business looking to bring together all facets of its people management system.

“Using this software, it’s possible to link to a front-end website that’s advertising a vacancy and have all applications collated so that a selection can be made. Once the employee is in place, all the data that was logged when the application was made can be carried over into that person’s records, cutting out a lot of needless admin.”

Bubble also provides core HR information such as transfers, resignations, promotions and complaints, company structure, timesheets and payroll, project management with allocated tasks and project dashboards, accounts, training, calendars and performance management.

Jay added: “It’s a bespoke system, so it can be tailored to each customer’s individual requirements, depending on what they want for their business and what they need it to do”.
