Fortec unveils new look for its new era

Fortec unveils new look for its new era

Fortec Distribution Network has rolled out a major rebrand to underline its new era as part of the Pall-Ex Group of companies.

The Northamptonshire pallet network has undergone an image overhaul as part of its 25th anniversary, which it is now taking to the road throughout the UK.

The new look reflects Pall-Ex Group’s iconic arrow branding, while keeping Fortec’s recognisable blue and green colour scheme.

The move will prove cost-effective for Fortec and its members, as its former livery required bespoke colours and specially made materials, which limited the pool of suppliers available to its network of independent hauliers.

The new design will save approximately £2,000 to £3,000 per vehicle, reduce wastage from the fabrics used for curtain livery and enable its network to use their preferred livery supplier.

The livery can now be seen across the network’s full fleet of double-deck, straight-frame HGVs and smaller C&D vehicles.

Kevin Buchanan, Group CEO at Pall-Ex Group, comments: “We are excited to refresh the brand which will support Fortec being truly recognised in the palletised freight sector.

“This change underlines our growth as a Group and our positions Fortec as a strong competitor in the market, both nationally and internationally, via new technology and our well-established partners in mainland Europe.

“It also underlines our commitment to our members, who can now engage with multiple livery companies to obtain the most competitive quotes and update their fleets with their shareholder status via new logos in a cost-effective way.

“It is essential for us to realign the Fortec brand and underline the benefits of our partnership, while still retaining Fortec’s own established identity”.

Robbie Evans, Managing Director of Bridgetime and long-standing member of Fortec was the first member to receive the new-look livery and comments: “Firstly, I think the new branding is fantastic! It really strengthens the Fortec image as we move into our next chapter as a network.

“I am proud to be the first member entrusted with the new livery, is it always a huge honour and I cannot wait to see many more take to the road over the coming months”.

Kevin continues: “This is a big year for the Fortec Distribution Network as we celebrate 25 year of operations in 2021 and we look forward to seeing our new look out on the road.

“Our collective Group ethos this year is Achieving Excellence Together, and the livery is just the start of new developments we have in the pipeline for Fortec in 2021″.

Fortec Distribution Network, based in Northamptonshire, is one of the UK’s leading palletised freight distribution networks. Part of the Pall-Ex Group of companies, it forms the largest overall collection of members within the UK.
