Experience brings high-quality results

Reliability is everything in construction, not just in terms of expertise and workmanship but in having peace of mind that a project will be delivered professionally, on time and on budget.

Founded by Ben Evans, Subs Construction offers the expertise and know-how to fulfil commercial and residential building projects, including design work, rebuilds and renovations or civil engineering.

Based in Northamptonshire, the highly organised and experienced team has years of experience across multiple different sectors in the building trade – constantly delivering high-quality results on small or large-scale projects throughout the UK.

The firm has carried out projects across Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire. One of its largest projects to date has been the construction of new learning facilities for Canto Charitable Specialist College in Northampton, which provides additional educational support to those who need it; as well as numerous commercial and new-home builds, from individual properties to housing developments.

All aspects of commercial projects are undertaken including refurbishments, structural works, new builds and alterations; as well as large-scale domestic refurbishments and rebuilds, restoration and refurbishment work, extensions and barn conversions.

Traditional skills like carpentry and brickworking are at the core of the company, and are complemented by the wider project management skills that, combined, give the client peace of mind and make the process as simple and straightforward as possible.

Carpentry

The carpentry division undertakes commercial, industrial and domestic carpentry, combining  knowledge and enthusiasm, as well as more than 40 years’ combined experience, to carry out project of all sizes.

Subs Carpentry comprises a dedicated team that has undertaken all aspects of carpentry works, from full carpentry packages on a labour-only basis through to full supply and fit.

Current projects range from contracts with housing developers, commercial installations, one-off roofing jobs and small works contracts. Subs Construction carpenters are also currently working for other construction companies on a temporary basis, on an as-and-when-needed basis.

Ben Evans said:

“Subs are here to help, we have the skills, reliability and experience to assist with the daily challenges that the construction industry creates.

“That reputation for reliability has been more important than ever over the past year or so, when we’ve needed to show that we will continue to work – safely and in line with coronavirus regulations, of course – so that our clients can rest assured their projects will continue as planned.

“At Subs Construction, we want to do the job right, not spread ourselves too thinly and chase every bit of work we can, but to deliver high-quality results every time. And it’s working. Word of mouth is so important in construction because trust and reliability is everything, so now that we’ve made our mark we are working hard to become one of the leading building firms in the region.

“Our aim is simple, to provide a quality, safe and user-friendly service for our clients, and to lead the way in the construction sector, based on client recommendations and referrals.”
