My 1st years partners with Panther Logistics as it expands its range

Logistics, News | April 21, 2021

Two-man delivery specialist Panther Logistics is partnering with My 1st Years which has expanded its range to include large outdoor toys – a first for the personalised baby brand.

The appointment comes as My 1st Years enters into a new phase of its 10-year journey which until now has specialised in personalised clothes and smaller toys and gifts for babies and toddlers.

Panther, which specialises in a premium, white glove, two-man service, will deliver the two latest additions to the My 1st Years range – the Discovery Create & Paint Easel and the Discovery Mud Pie Kitchen – both heavy items designed for the garden.

Amy Weaver, Head of Buying at My 1st Years, said the company selected Panther for its expertise in two-man delivery as well as its standard offering to deliver to the room of choice or garden.

She said: “One area of the business we are focusing on is items for the garden which is a hugely exciting development for My 1st Years. However, as it’s totally new territory for us, our choice of delivery partner was crucial.

“The items are extremely heavy and most people would be incapable of moving them safely – not to mention they are being received by busy parents trying to take care of young children when the delivery arrives.

“So when we met with Panther which offered to deliver the items straight to the garden or room of choice we looked no further. It was just what we were looking for.

“Eliminating the risk of the end customer causing damage or injury while trying to move the items, Panther’s offering also gives the person buying the gift – often a grandparent, godparent, aunt or uncle – peace of mind their gifts will be delivered on time and safely inside the home without causing an inconvenience.

“Customer experience is everything to us – it is an ethos upon which the brand was founded – and our final mile delivery partner needs to reflect this.”

Established in 2010, My 1st Years came into the international spotlight in 2016 when Prince George famously wore one of the company’s robes during a meeting with President Obama.

Since then it has proven popular with celebrities and influencers globally.
Samuel Scott, Panther’s Head of Sales & Marketing said: “We are delighted to be working with My 1st Years. The company has a solid reputation globally and places great value on the customer experience. Their company values are an excellent fit with our ethos and area of expertise.”
