Getting Back on the Road with White 7 Bedford

Getting Back on the Road with White 7 Bedford

The COVID-19 pandemic had a dramatic effect on many businesses, and whilst the plight of hospitality and hairdressers have been well documented, many others have been forgotten.

Chauffeur services have seen a change in custom levels, and companies such as White 7 Bedford have had to adapt how they work to continue providing a safe and effective service for all.

Traditionally, chauffeur services have done more than transport rich executives from one meeting to another. They also make sure that the bride gets to the church on time, they ensure your parents don’t miss their flight, they get your children to the school prom in style, and they can help your whole family enjoy a special day out in luxury.

When the pandemic struck, we saw weddings and proms being cancelled, venues being closed, and international travel halted in its tracks. Now that restrictions are gradually being lifted, White 7 Bedford has seen an influx of bookings as people try to get on top of all of the events they have put on hold over the last year.

“The coronavirus has devastated economies around the world and disrupted life in ways that were unimaginable just a few months ago. But at some point, industries will start coming back online and people will start going out again. At White 7 Bedford we are already seeing the change and people starting to think different and commence bookings for their special day.

We are now fully booked for the two weeks towards the end of May, and July, August and September are around 40% booked,”, said Kuldip Rait, Director of White 7 Bedford Director.

He continued, “Travel industry experts are saying Covid-19 pandemic finally recedes. We are already seeing enquiries coming through from the corporate sector that want to travel safe whilst continuing to travel in comfort and style.”

The business is not taking these bookings for granted, however, as they have put a number of safety measures in place to protect their clients and make them feel at ease. They are aware that their clients have new priorities as part of their travel plans and White 7 Bedford are keen to accommodate this as they help people to travel around Bedfordshire. This includes fully sanitising all vehicles after each client, ensuring that chauffeurs wear safety masks at all times, and by providing wipes and hand sanitiser in all cars.

The measures are proving popular with regular clients as well as brand new ones who are now keen to travel abroad on holiday and for work, or who want to finally tie the knot after so many delays. The start of the April 2020 lockdown saw air passenger arrivals into the UK drop by more than 98% and for most of the year weddings either did not go ahead or were forced to have a maximum of 30 guests.

Whilst there are still restrictions on where we can travel to, many are keen to book holidays, visit relatives or deal with long-awaited business needs. White 7 Bedford have a fleet of luxury cars and professional drivers who are ready to get you to the airport and meet you from your flight when you return.

The number of people at a wedding is now set to grow, and more guests can gather and eat indoors, meaning that an increasing number of weddings are set to go ahead in 2021 and dates are filling up quickly. White 7 Bedford will make sure that you arrive in ultimate style, class and comfort thanks to vehicles that speak to timeless romance, grace and efficiency.

Whatever your needs, White 7 Bedford are excited to get you back on the road, so why not do it in a little luxury?
