Finally open for business and pleasure

Food & Drink, News | June 1, 2021

Last month saw the exciting prospect of restaurants and bars reopening for indoor socialising – but it’s also now time to get back down to business.

The Bar and Restaurant at Kettering Park Hotel reopened in May in line with government guidelines, and the bedrooms are once again fully available to guests – as are the conference and meeting facilities.

The hotel has 14 meeting rooms in a range of sizes from a meeting of just two or three people right through to 260 in the Rutland Suite, for larger meetings and presentations.

In addition, the hotel’s experienced events team are on hand to advise on distancing measures and booking options to make sure the event runs as smoothly as possible, from choosing the appropriate space and providing the necessary equipment and catering, through to making sure that all visitors feel safe in the hotel premises.

It’s not all business, though and there are new features for both the indoor and outdoor seating areas.

While everyone is happy to have the option of being back inside, the al fresco area has been restyled so guests can be outside but cosy when there’s a chill in the air, with faux sheepskins, blankets and heaters.

The dining area is open for lunch, dinner and afternoon tea, while new features include a live singer every Saturday evening throughout the summer, and a Fizz and Martini trolley to help everyone get in the mood. This event promises to be very popular, so it’s worth making sure you book your table as soon as possible.

A new summer menu, written by executive chef Steve White, is now available, using local ingredients, while Sunday lunches are also back, with a weekly-changing seasonal menu. The selection always features the best quality roasted sirloin of beef, supplied by butchers, Potters of Stanwick, and carved at the table.

More information and menus are available from the website, visit https://www.ketteringparkhotel.co.uk/food-drink/

The Spa, boasting a pool, fitness rooms and beauty treatment rooms, is also open and new members are welcome. Various memberships packages, suited to different requirements including senior, off peak, peak and student memberships, can be taken out.

For more information and bookings call 01536 416666, visit www.ketteringparkhotel.co.uk or or for spa details email spa@ketteringparkhotel.co.uk
