Preparing for a special night

News | June 1, 2021

Entries are now open for the Northamptonshire Logistics Awards, which aim to celebrate the hard work, dedication and expertise of those in the sector who do so much to keep the county, and the UK as a whole, running smoothly.

The 2021 awards will culminate in an awards dinner on Friday, September 10 at the Park Inn in Northampton.

Organised by The Northamptonshire Logistics Forum, and with the support of headline sponsors MHA MacIntyre Hudson, there are 12 award categories including Achiever of the Year, Logistics Staff Temporary Staff Agency of the Year, HGV Driver of the Year and the inaugural Diversity and Inclusion Award, up for grabs. Entry is free and you can nominate yourself, a colleague or a business.

Individual award sponsors, who this year include Goodwill Solutions, Fortec Distribution Network, ACS Recruitment, NN1 Personnel, Wilson Browne Solicitors, Brackmills Industrial Estate BID, Travis Perkins, Verlingue, Linde Materials Handling, Certas Energy and All Things Business, have ensured the return of the awards that celebrate a sector that is vital to the health of the county’s economy, after a break last year due to the pandemic.

Tony Bellott, Chairman of the Northamptonshire Logistics Forum said: “The Northamptonshire Logistics Awards are always a special occasion but this year we will certainly be in the mood to celebrate, after everything that has happened.

“It’s going to be fantastic bringing everyone back together again and marking the efforts of so many people in difficult and challenging circumstances, and also looking to a much brighter year ahead.”
