With effect from June 1, Corby-based accountancy firm, Marray & Co. has merged with Moore East Midlands.
Founder of Marray & Co, John Marray said:
“I am delighted that Marray & Co. have merged with Moore. After a career spanning almost 50 years and running a practice for more than 30 years, I’ve realised it’s time to start thinking about my future plans and eventual retirement.
“It is important to me that, when I do retire, all my clients are looked after and supported. As an established firm of chartered accountants Moore have a great reputation for providing a first-class service for their clients and I must say that I have been impressed by their friendly down-toearth approach. Having the support of the team at Moore, and access to all their specialists will be a real benefit to clients. With a similar client base to Marray & Co, I believe they make the perfect fit.”
Nick Bairstow, managing partner at Moore, agreed:
“This is a really exciting opportunity for both Marray & Co and Moore. This merger brings together two firms who share the same values and a commitment to delivering a great service and we’re looking forward to continuing to deliver the great service John and his team have given to their clients over the past 30 years.”
The Marray & Co office has closed and all clients will be serviced from the Moore offices at Oakley Hay in Corby.
The merger supports Moore’s long-term growth strategy to increase its presence across Northamptonshire and the East Midlands.
