Time to focus on wellbeing

Time to focus on wellbeing

It’s been a tough time recently and after remote working, furlough, Zoom meetings and social distancing, things are slowly getting back to normal – so this might be a good time to show staff just how important their wellbeing is.

Kettering Park Hotel & Spa has launched a Workplace Wellness Day offer – a day designed to take care of employees’ wellbeing and help the team connect after the rigours of the past 18 months or so.

The day, which can be booked for individuals or a group, will comprise:

  • A welcome drink
  • Use of spa lounge/relaxation room
  • Full use of spa facilities including heated pool, sauna, steam room, whirlpool and gym
  • An exclusive wellbeing 40-minute treatment consisting of a back, neck, shoulder and scalp massage
  • Champagne afternoon tea
  • Time to just do nothing!

Andrew Hollett, General Manager, said:

“We’ve introduced the Workplace Wellness Day because it’s been a tough year for everyone and we thought it would be good to have something that employers could do to show their teams how much their efforts, patience and understanding over the past months has meant.

“And, of course, whether they are visiting for a Workplace Wellness Day or not, we also have our fantastic bar and restaurant, including the popular al fresco area when the weather is good – the perfect place to round off a busy day in the office or the end of a hectic week by enjoying a drink or meal with friends and colleagues.”

The dining area is open for lunch, dinner and afternoon tea, while new features include a live singer every Saturday evening throughout the summer, and a Fizz and Martini trolley to help everyone get in the mood.

The Spa, boasting a pool, fitness rooms and beauty treatment rooms offering Caudalie and Jessica treatments, is fully open and new members are welcome. Various memberships packages, suited to different requirements including senior, off peak, peak and student memberships, are available.
