Construction firm celebrates double success

News, Property | August 1, 2021

Bhangals Construction Consultants

Bhangals Construction Consultants is celebrating after winning the prestigious Business of the Year Less Than 50 Employees title at the delayed SME Northamptonshire Business Awards 2020.

The quantity surveying firm, based in Northampton, took the Gold prize in recognition of their sound management practices, impressive commercial success and sustainable growth.

It is not the first time that Bhangals have been honoured in this category. In 2019, the construction experts took the Bronze Award.

The spotlight also shone on Bhangals Construction Consultants’ operations manager Karen Bhangal at this year’s ceremony, who was named the Bronze Award winner in the Business Woman of the Year category.

Managing director Parm Bhangal said: “We are absolutely delighted to win the Northamptonshire Business of the Year less than 50 Employees 2020. I would like to thank each and every member of our the team – we are so proud of all that we have achieved together.

“It felt so good to win the Bronze award in 2019, but to finally win Gold in the same category means the world to us, especially after the challenges that COVID has brought over the past 12 to 18 months.

“I’d like to give particular mention to my wonderful wife, Karen Bhangal, for winning the bronze award for Business Woman of the Year. None of this would be possible without the years of dedication and commitment we have put in collectively alongside our amazing team. We are truly grateful for these honours.”

The delayed 2020 SME Northamptonshire Business Awards was the first face-to-face awards ceremony organisers Events & PR have hosted since the pandemic.

Guests followed all relevant COVID-19 safety precautions throughout the event at the Mercure Daventry Court Hotel.

Damian Cummins, awards director, said: “Congratulations to Parm, Karen and all the Bhangals team on their award wins. Bhangals Construction Consultants have shown outstanding initiative, boldness and imagination in the past year, as well as exceptional success. They should be rightly proud of these awards.”
