Pete Tong and Olly Murs come to Northampton

Sport | February 2, 2022

World-class music and hospitality collide

While the summer of 2022 might still feel an age away, with the plummeting temperatures and icy mornings, but the nights are already drawing out, and preparations are well under way at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens for two blockbuster events this June.

World-renowned artists Pete Tong and Olly Murs will descend on the infamous Northampton venue on Friday June 24 and Saturday June 25 respectively, with the home of the Saints set to be transformed once again for two extraordinary shows.

Having already hosted the likes of Lionel Ritchie, Madness and Nile Rodgers in recent years, cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens has become one of the leading concert venues in the Midlands – and the events team have honed a best-in-class range of hospitality options to suit any budget.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to be welcoming two special acts to the Gardens in 2022,”

Said Head of Sales at Northampton Saints, Edwin Turnham.

“Pete and Olly will bring two very different, but equally spectacular, shows to Northampton – and while our bread and butter is delivering award-winning hospitality packages at rugby union matches, in recent years we believe we have nailed our concert offerings for those looking to make their night extra special and guarantee memories to last a lifetime.

“Whether you’re looking to treat a loved one, celebrate a milestone anniversary or birthday, impress your clients or reward your staff, a night out watching Pete Tong or Olly Murs within a top-class hospitality setting is the perfect tonic!”

Hospitality packages for both events start from just £99 for an upgrade into the Captain’s Club at Franklin’s Gardens – offering a laid-back, social setting for concert goers to soak up the unique stadium atmosphere.

World-class music and hospitality collide

Meanwhile, the Champions Suite will also be open for both concerts from just £199 per person for those looking for a more comprehensive hospitality experience, or if you’re looking to host between 12 to 16 guests, there is no better place than the stadium’s executive boxes – which are priced based on stage view line and capacity.

All packages for both concerts include options for parking, complimentary drinks, a range of food options and dedicated, private bars, taking your enjoyment of Olly Murs or Pete Tong to the next level.

Pete Tong is set to transform Franklin’s Gardens into the sun-soaked White Isle, as – alongside The Heritage Orchestra – the iconic DJ brings a ground-breaking take on Ibiza Classics to Northampton.

Reimagined club tracks, incredible visual effects, special guest appearances and the latest in music technology will all be fused together for what is sure to be one of the most extraordinary shows Northampton has ever seen.

The show, originally scheduled for 2021, was postponed until 2022 and Franklin’s Gardens cannot wait to welcome Pete Tong, conductor Jules Buckley and The Heritage Orchestra for what will be an incredible spectacle.

“Myself and Jules Buckley are so excited to be bringing the Orchestra and Ibiza Classics to Franklin’s Gardens in 2022,”

said Pete Tong.

“The past year has been so unpredictable, but we continue… and I guarantee this will be a night to remember, so dust off your raving shoes!”

Meanwhile Olly Murs, the most-successful solo artist ever to come from The X Factor, with six studio albums all reaching the upper echelons of the charts, will be supported by The Feeling.

Murs has sold over 10 million records in total since shooting to fame in 2009, crafting four multi-platinum albums and producing four No.1 singles.

“You can’t get much better than an open-air concert on a summer’s evening,”

said Olly. “Bring it on, Northampton!”
