Such a sweet way to promote your brand

Creme Brew Lait

Has there ever been a business gathering that wouldn’t be improved by a delivery of freshly made biscuits or a piece of cake?

Having been forced to transform her fledgling catering company, Crème Brew Lait, due to the pandemic, Julia Brightman is looking forward to celebrating its fifth anniversary in the knowledge that business is getting back to normal, and that she can continue to do what she loves most.

Although afternoon tea deliveries are still on the menu, the focus is shifting to two different areas – providing bespoke biscuits that promote a clients’ name and brand using 3D design as well as producing fresh home-made food for corporate events from breakfasts, lunches, afternoon teas, meetings, open days and exhibitions.

Crème Brew Lait

Based in Bedford, Crème Brew Lait was created from an idea Julia had whilst she was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Having been dismissed from her job whilst having chemotherapy, she needed both a source of income and a release from the uncertainty and pressure of ongoing treatment. Knowing how much pleasure baking had given her over the years, her idea of an outsourced catering business was born.

“I was having a pretty difficult time and it was a positive, in the midst of all that, to create good food that people could enjoy, and soon I was catering for all kinds of events,”

said Julia.

“Then, just as it was getting established, the pandemic hit and everything changed, and my focus had to switch to home deliveries of afternoon teas, treat boxes and biscuits by post.

“Now that we’re through the worst of the pandemic and businesses are getting back to in-person meetings and events, I’ve focused on two areas. Firstly, bespoke catering for events, business and personal – weddings, parties, funerals.  Secondly, a 3D biscuit design service, creating unique logo gifts for clients that everyone
will remember.

“They are very popular for exhibition stands, or to promote an event, and once we’ve designed and created the biscuit cutter, the customer can simply reorder whenever they
need them.”

Crème Brew Lait

Crème Brew Lait provides catering for gatherings from 10 people up to 120 and offers a range of options that includes buffets, lunches, dessert tables, cakes and biscuits, fruit platters and afternoon tea. Table linen and vintage china are provided, as is a full service and hostess service where required.

“It’s great to see businesses starting to get back to normal, just the boost everyone needed and I’m looking forward to celebrating Crème Brew Lait’s fifth year with some special events,”

added Julia.
