A summer of activity awaits

Sport | August 1, 2022

Blues Foundation

Blues Foundation has revealed a full summer schedule for the school holiday break as it continues to inspire as many lives as possible across Bedfordshire with its multisport activation.

There are four ways young people can get access to these resources throughout August with Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) projects being held in Flitwick, Sandy and the University of Bedfordshire’s Main Campus, while there is also a more specialised rugby camp held at Goldington Road, home of Bedford Blues.

Access to all multisport provision is free for those who currently access free school meals, ensuring that no child has to go hungry simply because they are away from their educational facility across the summer holidays. There are also paid for places for those who do not meet with the criteria.

Once again, this provision for the summer holidays wouldn’t have been possible without the support of Bedford Borough and Central Bedfordshire’s Council’s Holiday Activity and Food Funds, and the Blues Foundation would like to thank them for their continued support not just with this project but with some of the other key activation that takes place in the town also throughout the year.

To book, head to www.bluesfoundation.org.uk for all the relevant booking forms and further details – and join over 500 young people who have already accessed this provision since April 2020.
