Companies large and small shortlisted for awards success

Tickets are now on sale for this year’s Northamptonshire Logistics Awards, where some of the biggest names in the sector, across a wide range of business sizes, will compete for one of the prestigious awards on offer.

Organised by The Northamptonshire Logistics Forum, the awards will see companies and individuals vie for 13 awards from Team of the Year to HGV Driver of the Year, Big Logistics Company of the Year to Apprentice of the Year.

The finalists have now been announced and they will find out if they’ve won at the awards ceremony at Park Inn Northampton on Friday, September 16.

Among the finalists are major names in the industry like Panther Logistics, C Butt Ltd and James & James Fulfilment, as well as smaller local organisations who play such an important part in the logistics sector in Northamptonshire, a sector that is so important in the county’s economic success.

Among the sponsors supporting the awards in 2022 alongside headline sponsors MHA are SHEQ Group Ltd, Northampton College, Goodwill Solutions and the Road Haulage Association.

Tony Bellott, Chairman of the Northamptonshire Logistics Forum, said:

“What has been so impressive this year for me has been the variety of entrants, some of them from the major players in the sector, and many of them entering for the first time, which shows how the awards are growing not only in terms of size but reputation.

“There’s has been some really high-quality submissions and achievements among the entries, indicating a real range of achievements across the sector, as well as some truly inspirational individuals.

“One of our judges gave us the feedback that they all deserve to win the award in their own right and for so many reasons.”

The event at the Park Inn, however, will see the outstanding candidates in each category pick up the title, along with a trophy once again designed specially by laser cutting specialists EES UK in Northampton. In addition, one company or individual from the evening’s winners will be presented with the Chairman’ Special Award, sponsored by Goodwill Solutions.
