Back where we all want to be

Supporting businesses throughout COVID-19 has been a top priority for Northamptonshire Chamber and its Back 2 Business Exhibition will provide a platform for firms to network, make new connections and grow, as businesses look to the future in a post-pandemic world.

The exhibition, on Wednesday, September 15 from 10am to 3.30pm at Franklin’s Gardens, is expected to attract hundreds of visitors from across the region and includes more than 50 businesses showcasing their products and services, alongside a packed agenda of networking events and engaging business-focused seminars.

Cheyenne Angliss, Marketing and Events Manager, said: “Over the past 18 months the Chamber, like many other businesses, has had to pivot its networking forums to deliver virtual events for the Northamptonshire business community.

“Moving forward, we will continue to provide an online platform for businesses to meet, connect and build relationships, but we are thrilled to be able to return to face-to-face events, starting with our Back 2 Business Exhibition.”

Wayne Jenkins, Business Development & Marketing Director at Wilson Browne Solicitors, said: “No one puts on an expo like the team at Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce: having been locked behind their PC screens keeping their links with members and the wider business community, they have been just itching to get Back 2 Business at a real, live, face-to-face expo.

“For our part, as Platinum members, headline sponsors of the upcoming awards, and sponsors of this event, the whole team at Wilson Browne are incredibly enthusiastic and excited at the prospect of seeing everyone again. It’s a chance to strengthen existing relationships, rekindle old ones and strike new ones.

“We’re hoping for good weather on the day but regardless of whether it’s hot or cold, sunny or cloudy, there’s a treat in store for everyone.”

The Chamber’s popular Business Before Hours networking event will be taking place before the exhibition starts from 9am to 10am, providing an opportunity for businesses to network in a relaxed and informal environment over breakfast. Places on Business Before Hours are now sold out but there is a waiting list available.

Throughout the day visitors will be able to attend two engaging seminars focused on Marketing and Sales. Starting at 11am, Square Media will deliver an engaging session on creating a One Page Marketing Plan covering nine steps over three phases:

At 1pm, ChamberLIVE: Sales – The New Normal, delivered by The Sales Ace, will talk about the effect COVID-19 has had on businesses and changed how sales teams have had to interact with customers. In this presentation, Julie Futcher will discuss this and share her top tips on how to maximise your sales in the new normal.

The Northamptonshire Business Awards recognise and celebrate the very best in Northamptonshire business and at 2.30pm the Chamber will be joined by the sponsors of the Northamptonshire Business Awards to announce the award finalists.
