With a growing client base and increased opportunities to tap into new locations, Milton Keynes-based CMC Communications has opened its second office.
Now operating out of Bedford Heights, a contemporary business centre on the outskirts of Bedford, as well as Furzton Lake, Milton Keynes, the move will create more space for additional technical staff, in keeping with CMC Communications’ expansion plans.
The IT solutions company specialises in making technologies work together, helping clients to join the dots between mobile, office and the internet, and providing a joined-up view of how a business operates ensures the correct connectivity can be put in place.
It currently has a team of 15 engineers and a wealth of technical know-how on tap, working closely with key partners such as Microsoft, Cisco and Gamma, whose products and solutions are industry leading and built from the ground up utilising the very latest cloud management tools.
The move to Bedford Heights, a thriving commercial hub in the former Texas Instruments site, will see the relocation of sales and account management teams, freeing up space in the Milton Keynes Head Office to allow growth of the technical staff team.
Phil Glenister, Sales Director at CMC Communications said:
“Having been based in Milton Keynes for more than 30 years and established some amazing clients and relationships throughout that time, we saw Bedford as a fresh territory to build new relationships and expand our presence in the region.
“Geographically, our technical staff can serve both Milton Keynes and Bedfordshire and, indeed, we already have a number of clients in the Bedford area, including Wells & Co Brewery and Parrott Construction. We see a great deal of potential in the marketplace to continue the growth of CMC.
“We’re also excited about being in this new and exciting business location and facilities here for client meetings and business events were exactly what we were looking for.”
Client Derek Parrott, from Parrott Construction, said:
“CMC have been our mobile phone and IT network support provider for the past three years, managing all of our IT needs, initially from the Milton Keynes office and now more recently from the local office in Bedford.
“We have peace of mind knowing that our networks are safe, secure, effective and reliable, with the team at CMC’s high levels of expertise, knowledge and experience just a phone call away. The service has always been helpful, friendly and prompt in dealing with any issues, offering cost effective and sustainable solutions, which has resulted in minimal downtime and disruption to our business.”
Joe Medrek, from Wells & Co Brewery, added:
“CMC have been a trusted partner of Wells & Co for over eight years. During this time the service offering from CMC has evolved and adapted to the needs of our changing business. The most recent project saw the design and rollout of an estate-wide VoIP solution that has enabled us to introduce a central reservations team in Bedford to support our managed house operations across the country improving the customer experience before they even step foot into one of our pubs.
“Throughout the pandemic CMC worked closely with Wells & Co to reduce our monthly costs while the business was closed – this mutual respect is the foundation of our partnership.”
To help introduce CMC Communications to its new business community, the firm has joined forces with networking group Collaborate MK and Bedford Heights to organise an event. The Networking Event, on Thursday, October 14, from 11am to 1pm will include a buffet lunch and refreshments, as well as guest speakers.
It will be held in the Bedford Heights Conference Suite at Brickhill Lane, Bedford MK41 7PH, and can be booked at www.trybooking.co.uk/BFFF
