Rhiannon Mistry, who joined Hawsons in September, 2011, has celebrated 10 years with the firm this year.
Rhiannon’s journey started at Hawsons when she did some work experience whilst completing her Accounting A-level, after previously working in childcare. At that point, she realised that accounting was the career path she wanted to pursue. Rhiannon then completed her AAT and ATT with the firm, developing a preference for management accounts and VAT, working closely alongside clients.
After returning from maternity leave, Rhiannon was promoted to a Corporate Services Manager role in January 2020, and now works with a number of different businesses and individuals, offering a wide variety of services to clients.
She said:
“Being able to work with a firm that is supportive of my development, from my qualifications to a management role is encouraging. I thoroughly enjoy my job and the people I work with and can’t believe how fast my time has flown at Hawsons!”
Rhiannon gets involved with networking, organising staff social events and taking part in charity fundraising. In summer 2021, Rhiannon abseiled down the Northamptonshire Lift Tower, and is looking forward to taking part in more charity events in the future.
