Focused on providing a payroll service for agencies and contractors within the construction industry, Rhino Pro was initially inspired by the success of specialist recruitment agency Venture Contracts.
Capitalising on the support and knowledge of Venture Contracts’ Emma Charles, who has many years’ experience dealing with umbrella companies, Rhino Pro was formed to provide a CIS service for agencies and contractors looking to outsource payments to sub-contractors.
Rhino Pro built its name around its five core values – Reliability, Helpfulness, Integrity, No-nonsense and Openness. When it launched in 2015, with Director Gemma Kennedy at the helm, the goal was to create a company that could offer a payroll solution that minimised the headaches regularly encountered, offering a service that was available out of hours, seven days a week and included late payroll runs, advance payment options and quick and easy registration methods whilst also focusing on creating a transparent model in terms of fees, terms, and communication.
Within weeks of incorporating – legislative changes around self-employment required Rhino Pro to broaden its horizons and create PAYE payroll options as well, which provided the capability to offer the full range of solutions across all industries. This includes Self Employment and PAYE options for both umbrella payroll for companies who wish to engage temporary staff and avoid potential IR35 liabilities, as well as a payroll bureau for companies that wish to outsource their payroll duties to concentrate on their other main business requirements.
