When the Hardest Moment is Making That First Call

At PBC Business Recovery & Insolvency Ltd we understand that contemplating an insolvency situation can be a daunting thought and often the hardest moment is making that first call to get advice.

What can you expect when you do make that call? Well, an understanding of your situation. No judgements, just a sounding board for advice.

An initial chat on the phone is often all a director needs to get some comfort and control. This is often followed by a face-to-face meeting where we can really delve into the issues of the company and start to formulate some advice and options. These initial meetings are, often, free of charge and there is no obligation on the directors’ part to move forward with any recommendations.

There are not many situations that we have not already encountered in the 10 years PBC has been operating, so nothing tends to come as a surprise.

We will spend as much time as is needed to fully understand the business background, the directors’ wishes and discuss the various options open to them. It is not a time for rushing and a well thought out plan of action at the outset often sees a positive outcome. Sometimes, this might mean we advise the directors that our services can be avoided.

There are over 100 combined years of experience within the team at PBC Business Recovery & Insolvency. Th eir knowledge and professionalism ensure that they support directors through the whole process. Case administrators will work with the directors in a compassionate way to relieve the stress and work towards a satisfactory conclusion. They deal with the demanding creditors, the banks and HMRC amongst others, so the directors do not have too.

We have offices in Northampton and Milton Keynes, so we are on hand to react to that initial phone call.

But don’t take our word for it. Below is a recent testimonial from a local company director.

“I can’t recommend Ian enough; he’s been amazing with the closing of my business. He reassured me and put my mind at ease, talking me through it step by step and what needs priority etc. I didn’t know where to start but with Ian’s guidance it made everything so much less of a worry to deal with. He was always at the end of the phone if I had any concerns or worries. Making the decision to close your own business is not an easy decision to make but Ian put everything into perspective. I can’t than you enough, Ian, for all your help and guidance. Thank you”
