Judges make their difficult decisions from record entry

After much deliberation, the judges of the Women Leaders UK Awards 2024 have made their decisions from a record number of entries, and the finalists for this year’s event have been announced.

The Women Leaders UK Awards were founded to showcase the success of women living or working in Milton Keynes, give them the recognition they deserved, and inspire more women to celebrate their own achievements.

This year’s winners will be announced at the Gala Awards Ceremony on June 18 at the DoubleTree Hilton at Stadium MK.

Dr Julie Mills OBE DL, Chair of Women Leaders UK, said:

“We had a fantastic entry this year and it was a very tight contest, to the point where in two categories the judges simply couldn’t narrow the finalists down to three and so four women went through to the finals.

“We’d like to thank the judges and the sponsors for their help and support throughout the process and we’re now looking forward to the awards event in June when we name the winners and recognise the efforts and contribution of women across Milton Keynes.”

Kim Bromley, Executive Committee Sponsor for DE&I, NHBC, said:

“As the final of the Women Leaders UK Awards approaches, it is great to hear that a record number of high calibre nominations have been submitted. NHBC are delighted to be headline sponsor this year and looking forward to celebrating the finalists on the big night and hearing their inspirational stories.”

Liz Newell, Partner at MHA, said:

“At MHA, we are proud to continue our support of the Women Leaders UK Awards. The awards not only highlight remarkable leadership achievements, but also acknowledge the invaluable contribution of women to the economic development in Milton Keynes and beyond.

“We are especially delighted to sponsor the #NoneOfTheAbove Award once again, a distinctive category which underscores the inclusivity of the awards.”
