Women from all sectors of the Milton Keynes business community came together at Stadium MK to celebrate and recognise some of the most inspiring individuals in a wide range of categories.
The Women Leaders’ Awards, hosted by Women Leaders UK and headline sponsored by NHBC, saw finalists, invited guests, sponsors and supporters gather to hear the winners in 14 categories announced.
Presented by Dr Julie Mills OBE DL and Ruby Parmar from Women Leaders UK, the awards also recognised the contribution of Elizabeth Sheldon in the development and growth of the awards over the years; while finalist in the Uniformed and Public Services Awards, Sharon Bridglalsingh, was chosen as the recipient of a place on the Women’s Leadership Programme run by Cranfield Executive Development.
The Outstanding Contribution Award, chosen by the judges from all the finalists, was presented to Ayser Al-Jawad, who was a finalist in the Engineering, Science and Maths Award.
