As the club strives to showcase the myriad options its stadium site at Goldington Road has to offer, Bedford Blues is inviting guests along to find out why the ground is the perfect location for all occasions.
The first ever Blues Events Expo, on Sunday April 6, at Bedford’s premier sporting club, is ideal for anyone looking for a venue for anything from a dream wedding to a large family gathering, birthday party or business event – the possibilities are endless.
Entry to the Blues Events Expo, which runs from 11am to 3pm, is free of charge. The Bedford Blues Events Team will be on hand throughout the day to help visitors find out everything they need to know about the facilities available.
The 5,000-capacity rugby stadium will be fully open on the day with access to all available venue spaces, including the CMC Marquee, which is the largest indoor venue on site and can cater for up to 300 guests.
The venues will also host a wide selection of industry and event professionals and suppliers, giving attendees the opportunity to organise all the details for their next special gathering at the same time and all under one roof.
The Rebel Bar or Scrum Bar are both perfect for more intimate gatherings, such as birthday or anniversary parties or christenings, with capacities starting small and ranging towards the 200 mark.
The club’s most premium event space, The Dovecote Park Suite, is perfect for conferences, parties and other events, and can cater for up to 100 guests.
Elsewhere, The Burrow at the Blues has a more rustic feel, and is perfect for casual events such as quiz nights, small parties and the like. Also situated pitch side, The Former Players Bar and SDC Suites offer an ideal meeting space for small conferences, internal meetings or as breakout rooms for larger events.
For those attending on the day there will be a special Blues Events Expo 2025 offer. Anyone who reserves a place, then attends on the day, will receive a massive 40% discount on venue hire if they book within one month of the Blues Events Expo.
