Having delivered another fantastic event for the sector, the organisers of this year’s Northamptonshire Logistics Awards are already looking forward to 2026 after a number of sponsors announced their continued support.
Next year will see the tenth anniversary of the awards, which were founded to celebrate expertise within all aspects of logistics, from warehousing and innovation to driving and customer service.
The awards evening, held at the Mercure Hotel Northampton in September, and once again compered by Clare Bottle, CEO of UK Warehousing Association, was a huge success, with winners coming from some of the biggest names in the industry as well as some independent, local success stories.
Prigmore Haulage in Kettering won the Small Logistics Company of the Year Award, while Shuaib Djama from Dachser was named Apprentice of the Year. The D&I team from Wincanton took the Diversity & Inclusion Award, with Decathlon winning the Community Engagement Initiative of the Year title. DSV were named Big Logistics Company of the Year.
Marta Cerek from The NX Group, who was presented with the Logistics Person of the Year award, said: “It was wonderful to be celebrated at the awards evening and share this special moment with so many inspiring colleagues. This award is not just a personal milestone for me, but a reflection of the amazing NX Group team and environment I’m lucky to be part of.”
James Bond, Director at Carbon Neutral Vending, said:”We were genuinely shocked and surprised to win the Judges’ Award, and we’re absolutely delighted that our sustainability work is being recognised alongside an industry we work so closely with”
Charlotte Patrick, organiser of the Northamptonshire Logistics Awards, said: “This was another fantastic year for the awards and I think that shows in the enthusiasm from the existing sponsors, many of whom told me on the evening that they were committing to extending their support into next year.
“This sector means so much to the county, to the local econ- omy and to the wider UK economy because there are so many people dedicated to keeping supply chains and deliveries running smoothly so that the wider business environment can function as it should.
“To be able to pay tribute to those who do so much in logistics is amazing, and long may we continue to do so.”
Adam Young from headline sponsor MHA said: It was great to be involved again this year; it was a wonderful evening with many familiar faces around the room.
It is such a warm and friendly event and it’s a delight to see the winners on stage collecting their awards. We look forward to celebrating the awards’ tenth anniversary next year which will be the biggest and best yet!”
