After a season of award wins that mark the company’s rapid growth within just two years, Simply Techspace rounded off their successes by taking the Business of the Year title at the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards.
In October, Simply Techspace was recognised at the NNBN Awards, where it won the Wilson Browne Spotlight Award, then in November took the High Growth Business of the Year Award at the Chamber of Commerce Northamptonshire Business Awards.
Speaking at the Northamptonshire Business Excellence Awards ceremony, Simply Techspace founder Matt Dann said: “We have won a few awards lately, but this is the best of the lot and that’s because when I looked at the standard of the competition, I really didn’t expect to win.
“It’s a real accolade, and a testament to the strength of our team. I’m very proud and very happy.”
Simply Techspace was established 2023 as a sister company to Simply Workspace to provide a complete solution for clients looking for office fit-outs, refurbishments and furniture, as well as the IT systems and support that keep a business running smoothly.
Today the two operate under the umbrella Simply Business Services Group, which now also includes Simply Commspace, and growth has exceeded all expectations, growing from two to 25 people and with clients across the UK and internationally.
It provides services for clients in a wide range of sectors including some well-known household names and brands, as well as smaller, independent companies all over the UK.
Around 25% of its turnover comes from the education sector, where it helps schools that need to spend tight budgets wisely in order to keep systems, premises and facilities in good condition and running smoothly. Keen to support the sector in any way it can, Simply Techspace also sponsored the Secondary School of the Year Award at the Northamptonshire Education Awards (NEAs), organised by All Things Business.
Jon Bautista said: “We work closely with schools and colleges across the region and we are proud to be part of the marvellous work they do. Sponsoring the Secondary School of the Year Award meant a lot to us. The NEAs celebrate a sector that deserves all the recognition it can get because there are so many people doing fantastic things to prepare our children and give them a good education.”
