A family-run garage in Northampton has been recognised as one of the top garages in the UK.
Service MOT Repairs, based on the Round Spinney Industrial Estate, was recognised in the Top Garage 2025 awards, run by Aftermarket Magazine.
After progressing through several rounds, which included a competence-based quiz, answering questions about recent investments, submitting photos of the garage, and presenting to judges, Service MOT Repairs reached the final 10 garages in its category – Top Garage with 4 – 6 employees.
As finalists, Service MOT Repairs were invited to a glittering awards ceremony at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Coventry. Whilst they did not win in their category, the garage was celebrated for its ‘skill, dedication, and customer service’ and walked away with a finalist certificate.
Owner, Alex Isherwood, attended the ceremony with his wife and two daughters. He said: “This is our second year of being a finalist at Top Garage and it just means so much.
“As a family-run business, we believe strongly in family values. When I set up the business back in 2012, I wanted to create a garage environment that felt comfortable and safe and treated people as we would like to be treated ourselves.
“To be recognised as one of the best garages in the UK for our dedication to customers, and investing thousands in improving the customer experience in the last 12 months, is a huge achievement.”
