A purpose-driven opportunity for local businesses

Entries have opened for the Ride MK Cycling Festival 2026, taking place on Sunday June 14. Following the success of last year, Ride MK returns as a community cycling festival, bringing together individuals, families and businesses to raise vital funds for Ride High’s work with vulnerable and disadvantaged children in Milton Keynes and the surrounding areas.

Ride High supports children whose circumstances make daily life a struggle. The children often find it hard to engage or communicate, but with the help of the equine-assisted programme the children begin to open up and become happier more confident individuals. Ride MK is a fundraising event which brings the community together while also offering businesses the opportunity to engage with an event that will benefit employee wellbeing, strengthen team culture and demonstrate their commitment to corporate social responsibility.

Companies can enter a team of colleagues, encourage staff to participate as individuals, or join a guided group for those less experienced. This shared challenge promotes physical wellbeing, teamwork and a sense of collective achievement, while allowing employees to ride alongside families and fellow members of the Milton Keynes community.

Routes for everyone

Ride MK 2026 features four routes to suit every ability:

  • 100km Road Route – for experienced riders
  • 50km Road Route – an achievable challenge for individuals or teams
  • 25km Redway Route – traffic-free via Milton Keynes’ Redways, perfect for novices and families
  • 1.6km Ready Set Go Route – designed for children under eight

All routes start and finish at the Ride High Equestrian Centre in Loughton. On completion, riders are welcomed back to a lively festival atmosphere, complete with food stands, family activities and entertainment for both participants and spectators. Every cyclist will receive a Ride MK medal to mark their achievement, with the added bonus of a free ice cream or bottle of beer to enjoy at the finish line.

Fundraising with incentives

Early registration gives access to early bird pricing and group discounts, making it easy for businesses to enter teams. Participants are encouraged fundraise and to raise what they can to support Ride High’s work. To recognise these efforts, the first 30 participants to set up their fundraising page will receive a Trek water bottle, and anyone who exceeds their fundraising target will be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 Trek voucher.

Partnership and sponsorship opportunities

The event is proudly supported by Bailey MK and Brioche Pasquier, with further sponsorship opportunities available for businesses seeking enhanced visibility and community engagement. Companies can also support Ride MK by volunteering on the day, helping to ensure the event runs smoothly, helping to create a memorable day for all participants.

Ride MK is becoming an established fixture in the Milton Keynes calendar – a day that combines community spirit, challenge and local impact.

Make 2026 the year your business pedals for purpose.
