Northampton Town Football Club was proud to highlight a strong example of community partnership and business support through a recent competition run by A M Water Services, which brought together local companies, football and charitable giving in a meaningful way.
As part of the initiative, A M Water Services offered supporters and businesses the chance to win access to its private executive box for one of the most popular fixtures of the season, the home game against Peterborough United at the end of February. This local derby is always a highly anticipated match, and experiencing the occasion from an executive box provides a memorable matchday experience, combining premium hospitality with an excellent view of the action.
To enter the competition, participants were invited to take part in a £100 prize draw, with all proceeds donated directly to Cynthia Spencer Hospice Charity. The hospice does incredible work across West Northamptonshire, supporting patients and their loved ones by providing specialist care, emotional support and guidance during some of life’s most difficult times.
Thanks to the generosity of those who entered, the competition raised an impressive £2,500 for Cynthia Spencer. The hospice played a special role in the draw, with representatives from the charity spinning the wheel to select the winner. Midland Scaffolding Services was announced as the lucky winner and enjoyed the executive box experience for the high-demand fixture, courtesy of A M Water Services.
For Midland Scaffolding Services, the prize offered more than just a seat at the game. An executive box provides the opportunity to entertain clients, reward staff and enjoy the match in a comfortable and professional setting. With hospitality in high demand for the fixture, the prize highlights the added value that can be created when local businesses work closely with the football club.
Northampton Town Football Club is grateful to A M Water Services for its generous support and for delivering such a successful competition. Initiatives like this show how football can be used as a platform to support important local charities while creating exciting opportunities for businesses. The club also congratulated Midland Scaffolding Services on winning the draw.
Above all, the initiative demonstrates the positive impact that can be achieved when sport, business, and the local community come together with a shared purpose.
