Bedford Blues has announced that international rugby will return to Goldington Road on Sunday May 10 as England U21 Women host France U21 Women in the final round of the 2026 U21 Six Nations Championship.
Ticket prices for the match (which kicks off at 3pm) start from just £12 for adults and £4 for Under 18s. All online adult tickets purchased in advance are discounted by £3.
Hospitality packages are available across the ground, starting from £45 per person in The Burrow at the Blues with a street-food style menu from Chicken George.

Elsewhere, tables can be purchased in Blues’ premium venue, The Dovecote Park Suite for £750 plus VAT which includes a sumptuous three-course meal, featuring a roast dinner, welcome drinks and entertainment.
Goldington Road has played host to four international clashes in recent years, most recently in April 2024 as England Deaf defeated their Welsh counterparts to lift the Broadstreet Cup.
England have a proud record on the hallowed turf to defend, having also won respective U19s, U20s and a Women’s Quilter International, all of which were against Italy.
This will be the first time a French international side has featured at Goldington Road.
Bedford Blues Chief Executive Officer, Gareth Alred said: “We are delighted to once again host international rugby at Goldington Road, staging a pivotal Six Nations fixture and hopefully the trophy presentation on the final weekend of the competition should add to the excitement.
“With a thriving women’s team and strong Junior Girls section, we want to continue championing the women’s game across our region. We hope to see a large attendance in support of the fixture and will be announcing plenty of matchday activation in the build-up.”
The U21s Women’s set-up was created at the start of this campaign to aid the development of the wider player pool entering the Red Roses main squad. The squad were called into a training camp in December for the first time and are led by Head Coach, LJ Lewis and Assistant Coach, Sarah McKenna. Preparations will continue in the coming months ahead of the tournament, which concludes with a potential title showdown at Goldington Road.
LJ Lewis said: “The launch of this new Six Nations tournament raises the bar for our Under 21s and the environment they develop in, bringing greater intensity, consistency and competitiveness.
“Having this competitive window also allows us to sharpen our decision-making, build physical and mental robustness, to ensure we are preparing another generation of Red Roses to come through.”
