Excitement is building for IF: Milton Keynes International Festival 2025, and this month’s City Breakfast Club, hosted by MHA, provided an inspiring glimpse into what’s in store for this landmark cultural event.
Business leaders, cultural advocates and creative minds gathered for an engaging discussion on how the arts continue to shape communities and fuel economic growth in Milton Keynes and beyond.
At the heart of the conversation was Monica Ferguson, Chief Executive & Artistic Director of The Stables, who delivered an exclusive preview of International Festival. Running from 18th to 27th July 2025, the festival promises to once again transform the city into a vibrant hub of creativity, with world-class performances, large-scale outdoor spectacles and breathtaking visual arts installations.
Since its inception in 2010, International Festival has earned a reputation as one of the UK’s most dynamic and innovative cultural events. Produced by The Stables and supported by Arts Council England and Milton Keynes City Council, the Festival continues to push boundaries, offering audiences unforgettable experiences and new ways to engage with the city’s spaces and stories.

Crucially, it is made possible through the collaboration of local businesses, organisations and individuals who recognise the power of culture in shaping a thriving city.
With just a few months to go, the anticipation is palpable. Whether you’re a long-time supporter of the arts or new to the festival, 2025 is set to be an unmissable celebration of creativity, bringing together communities and inspiring fresh perspectives.
A special thank you to Liz Newell, Partner at MHA, for leading the event, and to all our attendees and sponsors for their enthusiasm and insights.
As we count down to July, we look forward to seeing Milton Keynes come alive with extraordinary artistic experiences.
