Aitchison Raffety, a leading practice of chartered surveyors and town planners, has announced a new management structure to lead its business. Following the recruitment of a new Finance Director, Lottie Bonney earlier in the year, the shareholders have appointed David Goodchild as Chairman, and Philip Waite as Managing Director. The three form a new Executive Board, with a Management Board consisting of the heads of each of the company’s eight main divisions, together with finance, IT and marketing.
- David Goodchild joined Aitchison Raffety in 1988 where he was involved in property valuation and asset management. He became Group Managing Director in 2010 and continued to work with the company’s Heads of Department to offer professional solutions to the property challenges faced by corporate occupiers.
- Philip Waite joined Aitchison Raffety in 1997 and previously headed the Group’s Western Regional Office in Stokenchurch before becoming Head of the Healthcare, Education and most recently the Valuation teams.

Philip Waite, Aitchison Raffety’s new Managing Director, commented
“The new structure has been designed to allow for succession within the business, and will provide agility to accelerate decision making and promote growth. They will provide new energy to take the business into it’s next chapter.”
