Business and pleasure certainly mixed well at Cranford Hall in July when Kettering financial designers Anstee & Co celebrated their tenth anniversary.
The guests, mainly clients and representatives from the investment houses with which Anstee & Co works closely, listened to an entertaining talk on global markets by investment manager and business commentator Justin Urquhart Stewart before finding out more about the art of gin production from Tom Warner of Warner’s Distilleries.
Caroline Anstee, who founded Anstee & Co in 2012, said:
“It was a lovely event and the weather was kind so we were able to enjoy a drink outside before and after the speeches, where everyone got a chance to mingle. What made me very proud was the number of clients that said how delightful it was to meet the people who had dealt with them over the years. They told me they were keen to put a face to a name and voice as they had built such a good relationship without ever meeting – that’s what we’re all about, having a team with the right personalities to build those relationships and get to know clients.”
Anstee Financial Designers has grown over the past decade from a starting team of two to its current cohort of 21. The firm, based on Kettering Venture Park, looks after around £170m of investments. All advice and products are entirely independent and services include retirement planning, investments, mortgages, equity release, employee benefits and insurance.
The team has grown to embody the ethos that led Caroline to start her own business in the first place, getting to the heart of why someone is investing and what they hope to achieve from their investment, and the part it plays in their plans for the future.

said Caroline.
“The tenth anniversary event was a great success and we’re looking forward to celebrating further at other events we have planned over the summer, I feel very happy with where we are as a business and how we’re in a very good position to move forward.”
