A luxury home lifestyle store in Northampton is looking for a retail business to take over a concessionsin store.
Bell of Northampton, which has been operating in the town for more than 120 years, has firmly established itself as a destination store, attracting customers from all over the country who are looking for something special for their home.
The 20,000 square foot store on Kingsthorpe Road offers everything from bespoke kitchens and bathrooms to barbecues and hammocks and already has six independent retail businesses running concessions inside the store – CCE Landscaping, IOS Lighting, Luxe Cookshop, The Rose Gallery, Mills and Kinsella and York Smart Homes – as well as a café called Love Lunch @ Bell.
Following a recent takeover, MOOCH Gifting have restructured their business and vacated the space at Bell. This presents a great opportunity for up to 2,000 square feet of retail space for an up-and-coming retailer or already established retail business looking to set up shop in Northampton.
Lee Ferris, managing director of Bell of Northampton, is hugely excited by this rare opportunity and feels that it has come at just the right time.
He said:
“This is a fantastic opportunity for a retail business to join us as a concession within our already established home lifestyle store in Northampton.
“Over the last few years, we have added a select group of concessions within our store that are complementary to our brand ethos and add to our proposition. All of this together under one roof makes us a unique, one-stop destination store that attracts customers from far and wide.
“After an uncertain couple of years for retailers due to COVID-19, this could be the ideal time to commit to a physical High Street presence without the huge overheads. We have deliberately kept our rates low to support small independent retailers and make having a retail space more affordable. We also have on-site parking and a loyal customer base of people shopping for high-end, quality products for the home that we can bring to a business.
“This is such an exciting opportunity for a business that shares our ethos and values and is looking to attract customers shopping for things for their home.”
The concession will be available from September and Bell are open to considering more than one business to share the space if they are the right fit for a luxury home lifestyle store.
Those interested in taking on the space are advised to contact Lee Ferris directly at lee.ferris@abell.co.uk
