Bringing the fun to fundraising are charity champions Croyland who donated dozens of red noses to a local school.
Caring Croyland even sent their mascot cuddly canine Cooper the dog to deliver the red noses, which creative children at Cranford CE Primary School were able to decorate to help raise money for Comic Relief Red Nose Day.
Cooper made a surprise visit to the Northamptonshire school much to the delight of pupils. He visited children in their classrooms as they got crafty creating their own unique red nose for charity.
Rushden independent dealership Croyland donated red noses for every pupil at the school so they could have fun making their own bespoke nose to celebrate the charity fundraiser.
School Principal Rob Tyman said: “We are incredibly grateful to Croyland for their generous donation of Red Nose Day activities. The children have had such a fab time designing their own noses. It’s wonderful to see local businesses making such a positive difference while helping our pupils understand the importance of giving and supporting others. Thank you for helping us make Red Nose Day truly special.”
Children at the school joined the millions supporting the Comic Relief initiative, which this year is “raising life‑changing money to help people access food, shelter and safety – the essentials everyone needs to survive, here in the UK and around the world”.
Take Yourself Funny for Money was the theme of the annual fundraiser and the iconic red nose was deliberately left blank to encourage everyone to make it their own by decorating and designing their own unique nose. Big-hearted Croyland was thrilled to be able to play its part in the famous fundraiser and bring some smiles to the faces of pupils at the school.
Croyland General Manager, Mark Swindells, said: “Throughout the year Croyland supports numerous local causes and charities in many ways and we were delighted to donate the red noses to Cranford School. It was wonderful to be able to send Cooper our mascot to meet the children as they decorated their red noses and it was great to help raise lots of money for such an amazing cause.”
