Pre-season for the MK Dons players is already in full swing, and the players are gearing up for a new and exciting 2022/23 Sky Bet League One season.
Last time out, in the 2021/22 season, MK Dons finished with a play-off semi-final second leg victory against Wycombe Wanderers. Despite the win and an incredible performance, it wasn’t enough to book a trip to Wembley for the Sky Bet League One Play-Off Final. However, the Dons held their heads high in search of the all-important second goal, a goal which didn’t come, bringing the team’s 2021/22 season came to an end.
MK Dons finished the regular season in third place in Sky Bet League One, narrowly missing out on automatic promotion to the Championship. An incredible achievement for the team, all things considered.
Despite the unfortunate end to the season Liam Manning’s men can look back on the 2021/22 season with some great memories, both on and off the pitch.

After an away fixture at Cambridge on July 30, MK Dons will open their home campaign at Stadium MK against Sheffield Wednesday on August 6.Recently relegated Derby County will be the visitors on November 12, while onApril 29, The Dons will host Barnsley hoping for a repeat of the eight-goal thriller last season that saw them record a 5-3 victory.
