The County Ground is home to Northamptonshire County Cricket Club and is geared up for entertaining guests throughout the cricket season – which also means that when the live action stops, businesses and organisations can utilise the space to give their own guests an experience to remember.
With six executive boxes, three meeting and reception areas and three versatile function rooms, The County Ground is able to accommodate anything from one to 1,200 guests, and anything from gala dinners to part-time office space.
The executive boxes provide panoramic views of the pitch, making them perfect for corporate hire during matches. They also double up as work space, smaller meeting venues or, in a multi- room setting, for small group work. Each executive box features a food and drink area with a fridge and can be configured with a range of seating options, and during matches, guests can also take advantage of a larger private bar area with couch seating and room to entertain up to 30 guests.
The remaining spaces offer a whole range of options throughout the year for organisers to take advantage of excellent facilities while still being able to put their own unique spin on their event.
Curo Lounge
With floor to ceiling windows provide providing pitch side views, the Curo features an in-built PA system, large oak dance floor, a fully stocked bar with draught taps and atmospheric lighting settings. It is the perfect room for wedding receptions, gala dinners, award ceremonies and large parties and more.
In addition to the five-metre long bar, the Curo Lounge also includes a full commercial kitchen and service area making it perfect for sit-down or buffet style food service.
Hevey Suite
As the home of restaurant-quality match-day hospitality, the Hevey Suite offers a versatile venue space boasting a partially covered pitch-side viewing deck. Its dogleg shape allows for two distinct areas or one united space, making it perfect for conferences or parties with a need for break-away space. The Hevey Suite also features a commercial kitchen, full size bar and in-built PA system.
The Spencer Room
The Spencer Room is situated in the most historic part of the ground and is the most premium board room option. It has the best views in the ground and is a luxurious setting for any event.
A quaint and peaceful space, it is a great meeting room for up to 12 delegates and also features a comfortable lounge space which is ideal for lunch or break times.
The Arena
The largest conference and events space in Northampton, The Arena features over 900 square meters of uninterrupted, pillar free space, giving it a serious wow factor.
Its high ceilings to really show off its space and a marquee can be set up to add a touch of sophistication to an event. A large commercial kitchen and adjoining bar area have direct access to the main floor space, with a secondary kitchen and bar available with lift access upstairs.
