Feeling good about a fun family festival

Following the success of last year’s event, Arthur Ellis Mental Health Support has announced the return of its Wellbeing Festival which takes place on Sunday August 24 at the scenic Great Linford Manor Park in Milton Keynes.

This free, family-friendly festival is set to be bigger and better than ever, offering a full day of wellbeing-focused fun, discovery and support. The event is supported by John Lewis, Brioche Pasquier and TXM Group, and is designed to engage the community in understanding and improving their mental health and wellbeing through five key areas:

  • Move – physical activity and exercise
  • Focus – mindfulness, stress reduction and relaxation
  • Discover – new hobbies, skills and creative outlets
  • Communicate – building connection, community and emotional intelligence
  • Help – signposting and support services for when life gets tough

Throughout the day, visitors will be able to take part in workshops, demonstrations and activities run by local organisations, all set against the backdrop of Great Linford Manor’s historic parkland. From yoga to football, badminton and cake decorating, and with over 29 organisations collaborating, there’s something that both adults and children can get involved with.

Jon Manning, Founder and CEO of Arthur Ellis said: “We’re so proud to bring this event back for a second year. Our aim is to create a positive, accessible space where people can explore what wellbeing really means, all while connecting with services and activities that can make a real difference in their lives.” The event will also feature a plethora of local businesses, charities and support services, as well as refreshments and family entertainment. Entry is free and open to everyone. No registration is required, just come along and get involved.

In addition, the charity is extending an invitation to businesses to join its Corporate Membership Programme – an initiative designed to enhance employee wellbeing while supporting vulnerable children and young people across the UK.

The Corporate Membership Programme offers businesses access to a suite of benefits designed to foster a culture of mental wellbeing in the workplace.

These include mental health training sessions, one-to-one mentoring, and practical tools to manage stress and burnout. At the same time, membership contributions help fund free, one-to-one support sessions for young people currently facing long waits for mental health services.

Memberships start at just £100 a month, making it an accessible way for businesses of all sizes to get involved and create meaningful social impact.

Arthur Ellis offers a range of membership levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Each level is tailored to suit organisations of different sizes, and provides a structured package of support, ensuring that members can actively champion mental health within their teams and the wider community.

“We believe that timely mental health support can change lives,” said Jon. “Our Corporate Membership Programme is an opportunity for businesses to demonstrate their commitment to mental wellbeing and make a tangible difference in the lives of young people across the UK.”
