At a time when many businesses are looking at their infrastructure and evaluating their future needs, Fortus Business Advisors and Accountants has been keen to ensure we still have key strategic locations around the country for both our team and clients to work from and collaborate within. After all, at the heart of it, we’re a people business.
Given this, we’re delighted to announce we’ve now opened our new office in Milton Keynes.
It’s a location in which we’ve been eager to have a presence for some time, and to see this finally coming to fruition is another huge and exciting step for the business. With feature articles over recent months in the national press, highlighting both the strength of the area, (topping the UK Powerhouse report) and leading the charge in terms of economic recovery in 2021; we’re excited to now be a part of that journey.
We’re also fortunate enough to have many friends here already in the local business community and for a number of our team, this is a ‘return home’. The team is keen to reconnect with old colleagues, contacts, acquaintances and friends; as well as seizing the opportunity to make new ones.
As for the office itself, when searching for a location, one of the most important elements was to find somewhere that aligned to both our brand and our company values. We’re fortunate to have a fantastic team in the business who’ve made this happen and do so time and time again, and the Milton Keynes office is no different with the space looking amazing! Having relocated from a more traditional office space we’d outgrown, we can now confidently say we’ve created an environment that’s distinctive, open and inclusive, and will allow the business to continue along its path of supporting ambitious business owners in line with our strategic plan.
Despite the incredible resilience shown by our team this year in working remotely, something which was already firmly rooted in our culture, everyone agrees that nothing beats that face to face time with colleagues and clients. Technology has and will continue to play a fundamental role in how we interact as a business, but if this lockdown has taught us anything, it’s the real value of these human interactions.
I know I share all the team’s excitement with the move. The response to the new office has been incredibly positive from the business community and I’m sure you’ll agree, we can’t wait until the day we’re able to celebrate this new opening and other recent positive news across the business properly.
