Former England cricketer Darren Gough has been announced as the quiz master for Harry’s Rainbow’s next Question of Sport event, to be held at Stadium MK in February 2026.
Following on from the success of this year’s event, pictured below, the children’s bereavement charity has released details of its second fundraising evening based on the popular BBC quiz show. Guests at the black-tie dinner will compete against one another in an interactive battle of sporting knowledge as well as taking part in a host of fun games and challenges.
Each table will be allocated a team from the Premier League or Europa League, and will be playing for the honour of their team colours to add another competitive element to the event.
Darren Gough will be joined by a number of celebrity guests, who will join in the quiz and will be seated at Celebrity Tables. The event is being sponsored this year by temperature control specialists Tool-Temp, and the charity is inviting more potential sponsors to come forward to find out more about how they can get involved.

Tables are priced at £1,400 including VAT and the price includes the drinks reception, three-course dinner and wine for the table. Platinum Tables are available at £1,800 including VAT for 10 people, and that includes the drinks reception, a three-course meal with wine and champagne.
Celebrity Tables cost £3,800 including VAT and seat 10 people including a celebrity guest. The price also includes the drinks reception, three-course meal, wine and champagne on the table, and a prime position in the room.
Harry’s Rainbow provides support to children across the Milton Keynes region who have lost a parent or loved one. The charity’s work includes one-to-one support, resources, groups, events, trips and holidays, and it has an Education Liaison Development Office, Mark Creasy, who works with schools to help them support children who’ve suffered a loss. The cost to support each child for one year is £650 and the charity currently has over 600 children registered.
Alison Johnson, Fundraising and Events Manager at Harry’s Rainbow, said: “After the success of the first event earlier this year we are excited to be preparing to do it all again, and are delighted to have Darren Gough on board as our celebrity quiz master.
“Last year, when Kevin Keegan and Emile Heskey joined us as guests of honour, we raised thousands for the charity, thanks to the generosity of all teams, the celebrity guests, our sponsors and business and organisations who donated items for the silent auction.
“We’ll be holding another silent auction this year, and there are whole host of sponsorship opportunities available if anyone wants to get involved and be a part of this wonderful evening.”
The Question of Sport event in aid of Harry’s Rainbow will be held at Stadium MK on Friday, February 6, 2026.
