Golfers invited to be part of an exciting fundraising event

Blues Foundation has announced details of its Charity Golf Day 2024, with a plethora of opportunities for business to get involved and support its upcoming work.

Bedford & County Golf Club will host the event, the charity’s fifth annual charity golf day, which is set to be another exciting day of golf, raising essential funds for the foundation.

Widely acknowledged as one of Bedfordshire’s premier courses, Bedford & County Golf Club is set in glorious countryside and is a testing and supremely well-presented course with superbly paced greens. The course, measuring 6,420 yards off the white tees (par 70) and 5,641 yards off the red tees (par 73), is both an absorbing challenge and a relaxing retreat for golfers of all standards.

On the day, teams will be welcomed with a breakfast bap and tea and coffee, as well as an opportunity to network and socialise with other teams and competitors. Once they have completed their round, they’ll join the others back in the club house for an evening meal, presentations and opportunities to support and fundraise for Blues Foundation.

The Charity Golf Day 2024 will take place on May 16, with a 1pm shotgun start and will cost £320 per four-ball team. The price includes green fees, breakfast bap on arrival and a two-course evening dinner.

There are several opportunities available to support the day, including hole sponsorship (£75), longest drive and nearest the pin sponsorship (£150 each), or overall event sponsor (cost negotiable) and those interested should contact Head of Foundation Tom Harwood at tom@bluesfoundation.org.uk to discuss further.
