As part of the wider mixed-use development masterplan that is being developed for Angle Property, Milton Keynes-based architects GSSArchitecture are delighted to announce that the first industrial unit is approaching completion at Olney Park.
The scheme, which is due to complete in early 2022, will provide a new light industrial building with integral office accommodation, in addition to an associated service yard and
site-wide infrastructure.
The unit is the first to be delivered as part of this exciting development, located on the outskirts of Olney, which incorporates commercial, industrial, retail and fast food, a nursery and later-living accommodation as part of the wider masterplan designed by GSS.
GSS are now set to deliver the next stages of Olney Park, which includes a nursery and a coffee drive-through. There will be a significant landscaping zone to create a buffer between the site and adjacent roads and the coffee drive-through will have an outdoor patio space for customers to enjoy whilst at the site. The new development will provide services and employment to the local community, as well as an opportunity to add character to the local vicinity whilst considering the local area.
The practice is working on a range of commercial masterplanning projects, including the mixed-use scheme at Olney, and have been appointed on further local projects in various other sectors, such as education and retail. The team have been working closely with several higher education clients such as Cranfield University and their development of the Aviate+ scheme and St Catharine’s College accommodation at Cambridge University. Alongside this, the practice provides ongoing work to the Centre: MK and has been working on the development of 30 two-bedroom apartments with Grand
Union Housing.
