Leanne joined the firm in April 2019, having obtained an Accounting and Economics degree at the University of Northampton between 2011 and 2014. After her degree and prior to joining Hawsons, she worked in the hospitality sector.
She developed in her role there, completing internal management training programmes, learning how to deal with people, and was promoted from the Senior Team in 2015 to Assistant Manager in 2016 and finally to Manager in 2017 until she left to join Hawsons to pursue her career as a
Chartered Accountant.
Leanne uses all these skills at Hawsons. She started her studies towards her ACA qualification in 2019 which she completed in late 2022.
During her time studying, Leanne learnt on the job, she has been involved with training new graduates and has been promoted within her role. She completed her qualification within her training contract, which showed her dedication to her role.
Not only has Leanne been successful in her qualifications, she is always involving herself in staff activities and outings, such as baking and bowling competitions, and she was crowned winner for both in 2022.
Leanne said: “My time at Hawsons has not only allowed me to gain my ACA qualification but it has also given me an environment which has built on my previous management experience and further developed my training skills.
“The team have always been welcoming and supportive, which has really helped as I progressed through my exams and into my new role. I am excited to work with the firm’s clients and look forward to the continuing my personal and the firm’s progression in 2023!”
