The Ride High Development Centre has relaunched its face-to-face learning workshops and would be delighted to welcome more people to take part. The workshops offer truly memorable and impactful learning experiences in the centre of Milton Keynes.
What sets them apart is how they use horses to help humans learn.
The centre offers a range of workshops and those that are focused around team building, leadership and communication, have an element of Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) to them. EAL is a powerful way to learn about how we interact with others.
Using horses as co-coaches, delegates develop skills and build a greater understanding about themselves and their influence with others. Workshops are targeted and outcome driven, and designed to enable delegates to easily apply their learning back into their workplace.
Half day open courses launching in September include:
- Mental Health workshops delivered in conjunction with mental health expert trainers from MIND.
- Management workshops for those managing people – using Equine Assisted Learning
- Management workshops for those managing people remotely.
In addition, the centre also offers a range of in-company programmes that are tailored to meet the individual needs of an organisation and its people.
Anna Cawley, Director of Customer Services at waste management specialist Cawleys, said: “It was a really unique and engaging way to bring our team together. The training helped our colleagues to understand the importance of clear communication and
confidence. Everyone involved thoroughly enjoyed the session and the presence of the horses highlighted the importance of working as a team and considering how our methods of communication are perceived by those around us.”
The Ride High Development Centre is a social enterprise set on a beautiful 37-acre site in the heart of Milton Keynes. All profits from the centre are donated to the Ride High Charity, which has been transforming the lives of disadvantaged and vulnerable children in Milton Keynes since 2008.
