Arthur Ellis Mental Health Support is gearing up for a summer filled with community, connection, and a bold reminder that mental health support should be accessible to everyone when they need it most.
This month, the charity will host its second annual Wellbeing Festival at the stunning Great Linford Manor Park in Milton Keynes. The event takes place on Sunday August 24 and is completely free to attend. The event offers families, individuals and professionals the chance to explore what wellbeing really looks like through a range of hands-on activities.
Centred around five key themes, the festival invites visitors to take part in everything from yoga and mindfulness to creative workshops, live music and access to local support services. Whether they’re looking to unwind, learn something new, or simply enjoy a great day out, there’s something for everyone.
The five key themes are:
- Move – football, badminton, table tennis, gym challenges
- Focus – yoga, tai chi, patisserie decorating (you can eat them too)
- Discover – art, science experiments and the circus
- Communicate – crossed lines game, smarter phone making, board games
- Help – walk the plank, cross the path, maze challenge
This year’s festival is supported by local partners John Lewis, Brioche Pasquier, TSYS and TXM Group, alongside a wide network of local organisations, volunteers and supporters. These partnerships help ensure the event remains free of charge and accessible to all.

But the Wellbeing Festival is just one part of Arthur Ellis’ wider mission to improve mental health support across the UK. With demand for services continuing to rise and wait times growing, the charity recently launched its Corporate Membership Programme, an initiative that invites businesses to be part of the solution to access to mental health support.
Starting at just ÂŁ100 per month, businesses can support Arthur Ellis in delivering life-changing, one-to-one mental health support for children, young people and adults, while also receiving workplace wellbeing resources, training and support for their teams.
“Partnerships are at the heart of what we do,” said Jon Manning, Founder and Chief Fundraising Officer. “Through our corporate memberships, we’re helping businesses build mentally healthier workplaces while ensuring more people in our communities get the help they need, and faster.”
Between the festival, growing partnerships and a powerful focus on prevention and early support, Arthur Ellis is keen to show that mental health isn’t just a personal issue, it’s a community one.
Pledging support
Arthur Ellis has also joined the pledge to support the Milton Keynes Neurodiversity Charter, a movement committed to adopting more neurodiversity affirming practices.
By working together, the charity has agreed to contribute to the sustainable impact of The MK Umbrella Project and to a legacy for a more inclusive Milton Keynes and looks forward to continuing to support these communities across Milton Keynes, and beyond, as well as continuing with fair and inclusive practices for those accessing Arthur Ellis services.
The goals of the Milton Keynes Neurodiversity Charter are:
- To educate – strengthening the knowledge and understanding of neurodiversity by continually learning and developing.
- To advocate – championing neurodiversity to help Milton Keynes become a neuro-inclusive city to live, work, and play.
- To celebrate – celebrating neurodiversity by positively elevating neurodivergent perspectives.
Arthur Ellis has mentors trained in supporting neurodivergent individuals, as well as those with these conditions themselves.
