Have you ever dreamed of starting your own business? And then thought better of it?
If the answer to both those questions is yes, then a relevant, thought-provoking, and inspiring new podcast from Trudie Avery of Avery Creative is aimed directly at you.
The Brand New Business Podcast launches in September with a series of episodes from inspirational business people, telling their incredible, uplifting and emotive stories of success.
Trudie, who has a passion for helping entrepreneurs to reaching their full potential through her expertise in branding and logo creation, feels strongly that the new podcast will be hugely relatable and motivational for many workers trying to find the courage to make a change.
“This podcast is about people who never really thought they could, but did,” she said. “They took the bull by the horns and made the leap. They had all the questions but none of the answers. These people are like you and me. We have nothing, but we have our passion. We know nothing, but we have an idea.
“As a branding designer of 25 years, I have worked with hundreds of business start-ups. People who have dreams, who have stories. People who start businesses when they had no clue how to start a business. This podcast series are their stories and your inspiration to take that same leap.”
The podcast episodes will also appear on Trudie’s YouTube channel and will see the Logo Lady (as she is referred to locally) interviewing a different successful businessperson each week.
“These people are just normal people who have a passion and want to help others,” she said. “I want this series to inspire anyone who thinks they’d like to but don’t think it is possible. It is.
“You think you can’t, but, just maybe, you can.”
With two interviews already in the bag and four more lined up already, Trudie is sure that the subjects in the hot seat will be engaging, relatable and motivation for all.
“I come across clients every day who are really passionate about what they do and have really incredible stories and I wanted those stories to have a platform,” she said.
“For every business that launches, there are five people in a job they hate wishing they could start their own business. This is to help inspire those people into believing that maybe they actually can. I want to inspire and encourage with this series and share the lessons other people have learned. We are all coming across the same barriers and issues, and talking about our experiences helps other people navigate similar waters.”
Trudie recently attended a course by top YouTuber Ali Abdaal, which has given her new tips for improved video content and galvanised her to make her podcast plan a reality.
“My new-found knowledge and experience learned on Ali’s course has set me up to create a really engaging and interesting series with The Brand New Business Podcast which can be enjoyed by existing and new followers alike. My raison d’etre is about helping people and enabling businesses to fly, so this is something I’m really excited about.”
The Brand New Business podcast will be available here.
It is also watchable on Trudie’s YouTube channel
