Ready for a busy autumn of rugby

Franklin’s Gardens is opening its doors this autumn to offer unique dining experiences for screenings of both England international and Northampton Saints matches.

While crowds are unable to watch live sport from inside stadium bowls under current government guidelines, there remains a plethora of top-class rugby to take in this autumn season – and Franklin’s Gardens, the home of Northampton Saints, will be the place to enjoy it all.

A pop-up restaurant will open for the first time on Saturday October 31 for the final round of the 2020 Six Nations. The Super Saturday lunch will be hosted by club legend Tom Wood.

At Woody’s Restaurant, the legendary Saints flanker and England international will act as host for the afternoon’s festivities, which include a sumptuous five-course meal, screenings of the Italy vs England and France vs Ireland matches, special guest appearances, and the exclusive screening of Saints’ awards winners between the games – all for just £120 per person.

Hot on the heels of the conclusion of the 2020 Six Nations, Eddie Jones’ England side will also contest the Autumn Nations Cup.

Three more of the Red Rose’s matches are available to watch from the Gardens Restaurant, with a five-course meal, and special Saints/England hosts all on offer for just £99 per person, or a special price of £275 per person for three matches. In fact, club legend and World Cup winner Steve Thompson, will be hosting Tommo’s Restaurant for the England v Ireland game on Saturday,
November 21.

Meanwhile, Northampton Saints will be hoping for a fast start to the new Gallagher Premiership campaign in November, and Franklin’s Gardens’ Barwell and South Stand boxes will stage another screening as the men in Black, Green and Gold travel to Bristol Bears on Friday, December 4.

With a safe capacity for up to six people in each box, for £350 guests can enjoy a five-course meal and a screening of the match to kick off Saints’ season in style.
